What is the Edmonton Open?
The Edmonton Open powered by Flat Boy Burgers is a weekend disc golf event. Professional and amateur players from across Western Canada are coming to Edmonton to compete for the Edmonton Open title and put on a show for fans and spectators.
Does it cost money to attend?
This is a free event to attend all weekend. Join the atmosphere and watch the live action from tournament central with music, food, beer, and a free mini disc golf course. You can watch players on three different holes all from your seat at Tournament Central. Flat Boy Burgers will be on site making their famous smash pattie burgers and Sea Change Brewing will be on site serving only the best cold beers and Shiddy's beverages.
When is it?
Friday to Sunday - July 11 - 13, 2025
Friday: Birdie or Die - Open to Public - 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Free Event: meet at Tournament Central for this special event on modified (shortened) Holes 1 and 18. Sudden death loop - lowest score(s) after a Hole 1 and 18 loop move on to next round until a winner is crowned. An ace could win it all! Prizes for winners. Watch all the action from Tournament Central!
Saturday: there will be competitors playing from 7:30 AM until 7:30 PM - come anytime! Tournament central will feature music and a mini course you can play. The crews from Flat Boy Burgers and Sea Change Brewing will be on site from noon until 8:30 PM. The Edmonton Open Party starts at 7:30 PM with some spectacles you don't want to miss. And it's all free (except for food and drinks).
Sunday: the final day will see players competing from 8:30 AM until 2:30 PM. The top professional female and male players will finish on Hole 18 (watch from Tournament Central) around 2:30. The crews from Flat Boy Burgers and Sea Change Brewing will be on site from noon until 3:00 PM when the tournament ends.
Where is it?
The Edmonton Open is being held just West of Edmonton at one of Alberta's premier disc golf properties - Sea Change Brewing Disc Park at Bailey's Crossing. This incredible course is a must see and as of this year, it is backed by the team at Sea Change Brewing!
Parking
Parking at the Edmonton Open is free and easy to find on the North side of Township Road 510.
